Welcome!
Meet Our Program Director
Jeffery Pinnow MD
- Emergency Medicine Fellowship Director
Our monthly didactic sessions include topic reviews, journal clubs, and procedural skills labs. These are in addition to the program's weekly 4-hour didactic sessions that are shared by the TTUHSC EM residency program in Lubbock. Our fellows will also teach EM topics to Family Medicine residents at TTUHSC-PB quarterly and will gain incremental responsibility in overseeing and teaching Family Medicine residents during their required Emergency Medicine rotations. Fellows will also gain EMS experience and pre-hospital emergency care during ambulance ride-alongs with the Odessa Fire Department. Additionally, a dedicated pediatric emergency medicine month will further enhance pediatric emergency comfort, and a one-month block is set aside for the fellow to complete an Emergency Medicine/Critical Care associated elective.
